Augie was kind and took Gordy fishing at Lake Sharron while Elise's party was going on. (Before you go checking your atlas to find out where that is, I'll let you in on a little secret. Around here, when you build a new development, you get to dig a drainage pond, let it fill up with water, and slap a "waterfront property" pricetag on it!) Lake Sharron is actually a rather nice-sized "lake" behind Augie's work, named in honor of his mom. Yay, Mamo! It's stocked with bass and catfish, but we usually only catch the little bluegills. Yes, listen to me talking about fishing like I know all about it -- ha ha! I usually just take a book along and read while Augie's running around dealing with hooks, worms, and tangled lines!
Gordon was having quite a lucky streak that day! And he did it all with a little Tigger pole! Way to go, Gordy!
Man, I hope Augie kissed the kids goodnight before kissing me...
