On Monday I went to pick Elise up from dance camp. With about 50 dancers getting out at the same time, you can imagine how busy the parking lot was. I'd noticed earlier in the day that the parking lot had a fresh layer of asphalt, and now I noticed that the painting crew was attempting to paint parking stripes, directional arrows, and speed bumps while the parking lot was full of cars and people. Not too bright, I must say. I wished I had some of Augie's business cards with me, because I could have left them on those mini-vans that got a nice layer of yellow over-spray.
When I dropped Elise off on Tuesday, I was a little confused by all the new lines and arrows. Someone seemed to think that we drive our cars in reverse all the time, or that we all possess the amazing ability to levitate our vehicles into the appropriate parking spot...

Well, Wednesday it was raining, but they managed to get a fresh layer of asphalt over the arrows and lines, and today, well, here's what it looked like:

They finally fixed the arrow some time over the weekend -- then they had the nerve to put up one of those little business signs trying to drum up more customers! I wish I'd had my camera the first time -- I'd have sent it in to Jay or Conan or Dave!!!
